NkiniPhasha

SADAG Board Member, Nkini Phasha is a well-versed professional and entrepreneur.

Nkini is SADAG’s (youngest) Board Member and current Board Vice Chairperson. He joined SADAG in 2001 and also acts as the Senior Spokesperson for various TV and radio interviews. Nkini is very hands on in SADAG’s programmes and initiatives, including media campaigns, outreach programmes, youth projects, etc.

Nkini grew up in the dusty streets of Atteridgeville, in Pretoria and later on, his family relocated and established a home in Lebowakgomo, near Polokwane.

After graduating as a medical scientist, Nkini went on to specialize in haematology before spending 10 years in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Nkini also studied towards a marketing diploma and during his tenure in the pharmaceutical industry he established himself as a marketing expert.

In 2006, Nkini founded Bakone Strategic Concepts Group, a wholly black owned, specialist marketing communications company.

Nkini is a man of diverse talent, and is truly passionate about breaking the stigma and debunking myths surrounding mental health issues.
