The Benoekie Challenge is a nationwide movement turning creativity into impact, one giant cookie at a time.

WHAT IS A BENOEKIE?

A Benoekie is a giant Benoni-style sugar cookie, baked in sections and assembled into one massive creation, made to raise funds, awareness, and hope.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Everyone can join. We invite schools, businesses, churches, community groups, families and friends. All you need is one person to start a team.

WHY IT MATTERS

This isn’t just about cookies.

Every Benoekie baked helps raise awareness and funds for Mental Health and Suicide awareness, Gender-based violence, Child protection and Community trauma support
This challenge is about more than competition.

It’s about bringing communities together, creating national awareness, encouraging kindness and giving and turning small actions into real change.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign Up
Register your team online
Entry fee: R250 per team

2. Build Your Benoekie
Follow the official recipe and bake your giant cookie

3. Sell and Fundraise
Sell slices and raise funds in your community

4. Give Back
Split funds between partner charities

5. Make History
Be part of South Africa’s first national giant cookie movement 🇿🇦
